I'm not sure exactly what you mean, Candace. Chill Subs is a database for writers - you don't submit to it or through it (not yet, anyway). It is there for you to research places to which to submit your work. The way to do this is to use the browse function. Ignore the box that says type name, unless you are looking for a specific magazine, and select the genre of your story from the drop down menu. After that you will be able to put in the word count. Tick any other filters you want to apply, like 'open' 'no fee' or 'pays', and you will see all the potential places to submit on the right of the screen. Clicking on a magazine will give you more information about it and what it is looking for, and from there you can go direct to their submission guidelines and submit your story if you feel it fits the criteria.
